Sales are not shrinkage
Most stock systems treat every unit that leaves as a loss until proven otherwise. Sell well for a month and the report tells you you're being robbed.
SHELF records a reason against every change in stock. Sales, deliveries and returns are ordinary trading. Only count corrections, damage and write-offs reach the shrinkage figure — so the number in front of you is the one worth acting on.
